The Unemployed Father
My best friend John was retrenched by his company 6 months ago. He was the Department Manager of an IT Out Sourcing firm with 15 years of IT experience. He had kept this retrenchment as a secret and was trying to hide from his wife and 2 daughters age 8 and 10.
Every morning, he will dress-up to "work". He had tried every employment companies and through friends to try to get another job. I am worried for him and how long can he hide this secret?
He is considering taking Taxi Driver or Insurance Broker on a part-time basis.
His saving is depleting and soon have to borrow money to make ends meet. Guess what he eats for his meals? Bread with plain water or rice!
